It ain’t perfect. But it’s good to take back what I thought I lost for a while. I saw a pair of these black-throated sunbirds (Aethopyga saturata) up at the Cameron Highlands Resort and they struck a chord in me.
The black-throated sunbird is a species of bird in the Nectariniidae family. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
So thank you little pair (although the female is less colourful but no less pretty) for reminding me that the birdsong was always in my heart. I just needed to be still enough to hear it ♡♡
