What appeared to be a disaster at first turned out better than I expected. This red eyed bulbul was harder than I thought as I didn’t have the right colours.. and mixing colour pencils ain’t easy at all!! For me at least. I thought my poor bulbul will be the first casualty from my new art block but heyyyy…glad it survived! ♡
The Asian red-eyed bulbul (Pycnonotus brunneus) is a nondescript looking songbird belonging to the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, Singapore, and Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical broadleaved evergreen forests, forest edge, secondary growth, up to 1,000 metres.
